A superb Pietta New Model Army, in great condition, with a 6 1/2" barrel, and engraving to most surfaces. Although the frame is the size of an original NMA, the calibre is .36"; the Navy calibre. The grips are aged Ivorine, with an eagle and snake design, and are slightly ill-fitting, though sound. The original walnut grips will be included. The gun was sympathetically de-activated in 2001, and has a bar across the barrel, and drilled chambers. It field-strips as normal, and the nipples are clear. The belt and holster are in good condition, with some missing stitching to the back. The leather is very thick, and the whole rig is of very good quality. The gun is complete with its certificate of de-activation. Realistically low reserve.
