This is a very nice high quality reproduction of the REMINGTON NEW ARMY 44 PERCUSSION REVOLVER.
These are Italian made and are shooting guns that have been made as inert models and are made of high quality steel and brass. Usually the barrels are not bored right through and the cylinders are hollow.
This one has a 8" octagonal blued steel barrel with foresight.
Polished Brass frame and backstrap. 6 shot 44 cylinder with clear nipples,so percussion caps could be fired.
Walnut grips. Case hardened hammer.
All in excellent condition,all but a couple of small marks, in as new finish.
Lovely crisp working action.
This item is exempt from the new vcr laws as it has a design and action prior to 1870, and requires no licence etc. |
