This is a nice deringer style percussion overcoat pistol, probably English,but no visible markings.
3 1/2" octagonal barrel of large bore, 16 bore,or .65 approx. engraving to top of barrel at breech. Good nipple
Nice engraved lockplate with engraved dolphin head hammer.
Steel backstrap with some engraving and a steel butt cap.
Some engraving on bottom of trigger guard.
Woodwork probably walnut in very good condition with no splits etc.
Overall 8"
In good condition with strong working action. |
