Description
  • This is a military type percussion carbine, probably for Indian service.
  • Fully working lock with border engraved lock plate and marked HHGS below a crown over arrow.
  • Barrel 20¾”, good condition with grey brown patina, some minor pitting around bolster and faint inspector’s marks at breech
  • Cross bolted forend
  • Regulation brass furniture
  • Stock in good condition with a couple of expert repairs to forend
  • Sling swivel at forend but missing from butt
  • Overall in good condition, obviously not a shooter but an excellent wall hanger
