This is a good Remington-smoot new model No.3 revolver in .38 rimfire.
It is the rarer saw handle model of which only approx 5000 were made. C.1878-1888.
3 3/4" octagonal barrel with top rib, good barrel address on top flat "E.Remington & Sons.Ilion,NY. Pat W S Smoot.Oct 21 1873"
Spring loaded cartridge ejector rod to right side of barrel.
5 shot 38 rimfire fluted cylinder.
Spur trigger,chequered grips with"R" monogram.
Nickle plated with approx 90% remaining,slight losses from right side of frame and bottom of ejector housing.
In good condition with good working action.
