This revolver is unusual in that at the time it was produced it was nickle plated and still has at least 95% most if not all the other 3,901 officer model's would have been deliverd to there new owner's blued ,As was the custom at the time the officer's had to buy there own pistol's so ether the owner of this revolver was important or he thought he was to have orderd the nickle plateing,

This revolver was produced in 1875 the second year of production one of 3,902 that year and one of only 37,200 intotal produced between 1874 & 1886 as opposed to 334,852 of the more common 1873 model Camelot Delvigne so represents quite a rarity in it's self,for a revolver that is over 130 year's old it is in remakable good condition,

This is an obsolete calibre and as such can be held under uk law 58(2)
