Whitney Pocket 31cal Percussion Revolver Second Model 1st Type.
Great gun in need of a little attention, good working order but trigger
spring is weak and there has been a repair to the grips (see pics) I
dont know what the barrel rifling is like as the screw is knurled and
wont come out but I would say by the condition of the gun that the
rifling would be good.One or two of the other screws have been replaced.
The serial number is 8080, good nipples, barrel top is marked- E.WHITNEY N.HAVEN
4" octagonal barrel. There are some markings on the back strap that I cant make out. This is a cheap gun to allow for repairs.
