Very unusual little revolver this, top of barrel marked--W.ANDERSON. MALTON.
Made in the style of a Smith & Wesson model 1 1/2 but in the rare 30cal rimfire (obsolete)
3 3/8" octagonal barrel with very good rifling. Proof marks to barrel and cylinder.
Traces of original nickel remaining, good grips. Good working order but
cylinder stop spring is a little weak(a simple repair) This gun was
probably made under licence from S&W. William Anderson Malton
Yorkshire 1840-1867. This is a super and quite rare little gun in this
calibre.
