This is a superb Iver Johnson bulldog, the nickel is at least 90% original and is crisp and shiney. All the edges are sharps and excellent.

The original dog's head hard rubber grips are superb.

The action works like new in both single and double action and you can make out some of the case hardening still on the hammer.

The bore is excellent and has good deep rifling, just needs a good scrub as the bore is just a little dark but will come up shiney with a good clean, i might even get round to doing this myself if i find the time.

All in this is a very fine Iver Johnson bulldog in a rarely encounterd barrel length. I have come across the 2.5 and 6.0 inch barrel lengths but not a 4.5 inch barrel version before, i have to say the 4.5 barrel version proportions feel perfect for the size of the frame and it looks the best too.
