This is a genuine Martini-Henry carbine 450/577 calibre Cavalry mk 1 rifle. C1860 It has the 1888 Birmingham Rifle Repair facility stamp on the side which then made it a Mk11 which is also there. Also double arrow heads also E10 and 63Y109 It has been deactivated by someone putting a cut through the breach of the barrel head so therefore doesn't need a certificate also the firing pin has been filed down. Loading mechanism and trigger mechanism in working order. It has on the metal side plate Enfield 1860 stamped. Apparently the cut was made by the Army so they could be used for training purposes. This is a bargain for someone who would just like to own one.
