Remington Army Percussion Revolver with holster, nice old cowboy gun.
This is a very early new model revolver with old model barrel markings.
Serial number 31519 last of old model and early NM (lots of old model parts were used)puts it about 1863-1865 a civil war gun.
There are lots of inspection marks and outline of cartouche on grips.
Gun is in working order but the cylinder hand is not working, a new
main spring has been fitted and the cylinder has had a new head fitted,
maybe it was a black powder shooter?
Good barrel rifling with some pitting, comes complete with holster.
