This is a good Deane / Adams .45 percussion revolver, made under licence in Belgium.
6 1/8" Octagonal barrel, top flat engraved " Liege, Licenced by Deane Adams, London".
5 Shot approx .45 cylinder with good nipples, quickly released by pull out cylinder pin.
Spurless hammer fires double action.
Left side of frame marked " Adams" Right side marked " Adams's patent No. 3727 ".
Good chequered wooden grips.
Floral engraving to breech,sideplates,trigger guard,backstrap and butt cap.
Butt cap with shell engraved cap trap.
In overall very good condition with working action. |
