This is a good percussion cavalry type holster pistol.
9" Round barrel of approx .75 bore,with brass forend cap.
Captive swivel ramrod,held in the closed position by a steel spring under the forend.
Steel lockplate inscribed at the left of hammer with a crown,broad arrow and "EIG", and right of the hammer "Birmingham 1869".
Large military style hammer. Good nipple.
Full stocked woodwork with brass forend cap,brass trigger guard and heavy flat butt cap fitted with lanyard ring. Marked on opposite side to lock "186".
In overall good condition with strong working action.
