Description

This is a good cavalry type percussion pistol by one of this countries leading gunmakers " BOND OF LONDON"

5" Octagonal barrel with silver foresight. "LONDON" engraved on the top flat. Approx .56 bore. Good nipple with engraved bolster. Engraved tange, and silver band at breech.

Captive swivel ramrod. Engraved steel trigger guard.

Engraved lockplate enscribed "BOND", engraved hammer.

Good woodwork with chequered grips,oblong silver escutcheon on the top face of butt. Wedge in forend with silver escutcheon plates. NO splits or cracks.

In overall good condition with good working action. Overall approx 11".
