A very nice 1888 .22rf Enfield.
Stock is lovely and the chequering is wonderful,
(you can see how crisp it is in one of the pictures),
the whole patina on this rifle is just what you would expect on a 120 year old Antique rifle - gorgeous.
This rifle is still in use for vintage SMRC events at Bisley, the next event is in August, why not buy this and practice.
.
There are many Classic and Vintage classes you could use it for and there are many other .22rf events that you can enter for on the day.
'
This rifle is in perfect working order and is very accurate.
'
This particular rifle has engraved on the side plate the fact that it was converted for the Society of Minature Rifle Clubs by C.G. Bonehill of Birmingham.
A nice collectable item that you can still use.
You can try before you buy : Buckhurst Hill on the Central Line - North East London - West Essex.

Would consider a swop for a falling block 8.15 x 46R rook or target rifle, or may consider a ,32-20/40 or a .310 or a 295/300cal Rook and Rabbit, what have you ?
.
Please would all potential bidders note :
This is a real working rifle, you will be required to have
FIREARMS CERTIFICATE
on which you must have 'slot' to allow you buy a 'real rifle' of this calibre.
.
I would expect the swop offer to be in the order of value to the same or higher than the start price shown on this sale. |
