This is a Manhattan .31 percussion pocket revolver. Series 1. Made about 1859. (Only around 1000 of the first series were made, so fairly rare)
4" Octagonal barrel with good two line address"Manhattan Fire Arms Manufg Co. New York".
5 Shot .31 cylinder with 10 stop slots,good nipples,most of stage coach holdup scene remaining.
Floral engraving to sides of frame. Backstrap with engraving and the name "Jack Sinclair"
Good two piece walnut grips.
In overall good condition with working action. |
